On May 23, the West Houston Association hosted its 4th Annual Rising Leaders Topgolf Tournament – an event that soared to new heights and left participants buzzing with excitement! Organized by Rising Leaders Class 8, the tournament attracted over 200 professionals from various industries across the Greater Houston region. We would like to give a special thanks to our 2024 Title Sponsor, RS Industrial Arts!
The event began with check-in, where attendees were greeted with drinks and fajitas, providing a great atmosphere for socializing and setting the stage for both friendly competition and professional connections.
After a briefing from the Topgolf pros, the tournament officially kicked off. Participants tested their skills and embraced the challenges, with teams demonstrating remarkable precision and determination. Teams used their Mulligan Tickets strategically which added a layer of strategy to the fun. Spectators lined the bays to cheer for their colleagues and friends, which created an electric atmosphere of support and unity.
Throughout the event, many participants took the opportunity to take a swing at the Hole-In-One competition for a chance to bring home $10,000 while others demonstrated their skills in the Longest Drive competition.
As the tournament progressed, the competition grew fierce. Ultimately, the top-performing golfers were celebrated with awards and recognition, honoring their exceptional performance. Congratulations to Clear Companies for bringing home 1st Place! Hot on their heels, RS Industrial Arts earned a well-deserved 2nd Place, while Pape Dawson captured 3rd Place. Additionally, Austin Ficken stood out with an impressive victory in the Longest Drive competition, showcasing his outstanding talent and strength.
