Our Building Forward: Sustainable Growth Forum is just under a week away and as we gear up for the great discussion, a few of our expert panelists have published studies on the resiliency of our region.
Jim Blackburn with Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy is one of our five panelists who will be on stage at our Sustainable Growth forum. He published the “HOUSTON AT THE CROSSROADS: RESILIENCE AND SUSTAINABILITY IN THE 21st CENTURY” paper back in April but will surely reference it’s contents in the upcoming panel discussion.
Tory Gattis of the Center for Opportunity Urbanism will also be one of the five panelists at our Wednesday event and recently helped underwrite the “HOUSTON RESILIENT How Houston has met — and will meet — the challenges posed by Hurricane Harvey” paper published earlier this month.
We expect a great turnout at our event and look forward to what is sure to be a great panel discussion.
