Thank You to TAG!

The West Houston Association would like to say thank you to TAG for their hospitality and the chance to get the word out about the upcoming bond.

On Tuesday, July 17th Transportation Advocacy Group, or TAG, held a MotionMap Membership Workshop to keep their constituents  updated on current projects as well as obtain feedback on their most recent MotionMap. The group was gracious enough to allow Auggie Campbell (WHA President & Fight Flooding PAC Treasurer) to inform the group about the Harris County Flood Control District’s upcoming bond election, to be held on August 25th, and all the efforts being made to spread the information throughout the whole community.

The rest of the workshop was very well structured and allowed public & private entities to explain what they are each working on that will help the community begin to move forward and prepare for the influx of population expected to enter the Houston region in the coming years.

At the time of each breakout each member of the group was also able to provide project and design feedback on the MotionMap to ensure the map accurately reflects this region’s needs and is user friendly to a broad audience. WHA is proud to be a member of TAG and appreciative of the events that keep members engaged and involved. Thanks again to TAG.
