Our Sustainability Stars winner, Jersey Meadows Detention Basin, received recognition in the County Judges Report, a newsletter put out by Judge Ed Emmett. Harris County Flood Control District, Harris County Precinct 4 and the City of Jersey Village all worked diligently to make the project deserving of a three star recognition from WHA. WHA’s Sustainability Stars Program recognizes qualified applicants for sustainability efforts in land development and infrastructure in Greater West Houston. This includes 5 separate stars of recognition: (a) Investigation; (b) Investment; (c) Integration into construction; (d) Inspiration; and (e) Innovation.
